WFW-WIFT Production Manager Mentorship Winner: Monica Côté
We are pleased to announce Monica Côté as winner of the second annual William F. White Production Manager Mentorship in Toronto. This competitive program, offered in conjunction with Whites’ new Education & Training Department, is designed to provide one emerging Canadian female production manager with hands-on training and mentorship from leading industry professionals.
Monica will join us as an intern for a period of 10 days, and will benefit from three direct mentorship sessions with established Production Managers, Kellie Ann Murphy and Anna Beben. She will also receive complimentary enrolment in Production Management and Production Accounting, two modules of the WIFT-T Business Management for Media Professionals Program.
“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with WIFT-T on this important initiative,” says Paul Bronfman, William F. White Chairman and CEO. “It’s a great opportunity to provide mentorship and advancement for Canadian women in our industry while reinforcing our long-time commitment to supporting the next generation of production professionals.”
WIFT-T continues to explore avenues for professional development to inspire, nurture talent, and promote diversity in the industry. This partnership fills a crucial gap by addressing the need for production training at the emerging level.
