Rick Perotto

Senior Director, Business Development

Rick Perotto, Vice President of Business Development, joined William F. White Intl. (WFW) over 10 years ago, following an illustrious 13-year career as Business Representative of IATSE Local 667, representing over 900 members in the motion picture industry across six provinces, from Ontario to Newfoundland. As past Chair of a National Health and Welfare Trust Plan, Rick brought a high level of governance to the plan that has since been used by other health plans as a model for plan governance designs.

Rick was president of the local union for five years while working as a freelance first assistant cameraman on hundreds of television productions and over 30 feature films, including Good Will Hunting and Sea of Love. As a freelance cameraman, Rick worked on many television programs including ESPN, CBS Sports, and Entertainment Tonight. As a producer and director, he partnered with loyal high-end corporate video clients including Coca-Cola and General Motors.

Always supportive of training and advanced learning, Rick sat on the Board of Governors at Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning for over four years. He was also influential in the formation of the Screen Industries Research and Training Centre at Pinewood Toronto Studios and is a founding board member of FilmOntario.

As Vice President of Business Development, Rick has worked with the studio team to expand WFW’s studio footprint to over 1.4 million square feet across Canada.
